  1. In a large skillet or saucepan, heat the NARA olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sti-fry it until it becomes translucent.
  2. Add the chopped garlic and stir-fry for about a minute until it becomes fragrant.
  3. Incorporate the sliced mushrooms into the skillet and cook them until they become tender and start to brown.
  4. Add the ZEYNA Mhammas (pearled couscous) to the skillet and stir-fry briefly with the vegetables, ensuring it’s well coated with the NARA oil.
  5. Begin adding the hot vegetable broth, one ladle at a time, stirring frequently and allowing the liquid to be absorbed before adding more. Continue this process until the Mhammas is cooked to perfection. This should take about 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. If desired, add the grated Parmesan cheese and butter for extra creaminess. Mix well.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley for added freshness.
  9. Serve your Mhammas  Risotto-Style hot and enjoy this delicious fusion of flavors.
